Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience
(Ropes Course)

Since its founding in 1910 the Boy Scouts of America has offered its members an outdoor program that stresses personal fitness. Project COPE is compromised of a series of outdoor challenges beginning with basic group initiatives that progress toward more complicated low and high course elements, called "events". Some of these events involve group effort while others test individual skills and agility. Participants climb, swing, balance, jump and rappel as well as develop solutions to a variety of challenges. Most participants find they can do much more than they initially thought they could.

Camp Pirtle's COPE Course offers over 25 low and high elements, plenty to fill a weekend's camping trip!
