Operational Guidelines

Camp Pirtle particiant

Camp Pirtle exists to provide a special place for Scouters to carry out the mission of the Boy Scouts of America and the East Texas Area Council. Simply stated, Camp Pirtle is a tool used to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices in life.

As leaders you set the example of stewardship at Camp Pirtle. In this beautiful place, the spirit of camp is found in our actions and attitudes using the Scout Oath and Law as inspiration.

The operational guidelines (approved by the ETAC Executive Committee) are meant to provide better stewardship of the property, its facilities and its equipment.
