The Great Tyler Cleanup

posted Mar 2, 2018, 10:52 AM by John Royar

Keep Tyler Beautiful is inviting people of all ages to demonstrate that they love where they live by coming together for a community wide cleanup on Saturday, April 7th. This is a part of the Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off and the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup.

Keep Tyler Beautiful will be hosting the event from Southside Park and Rose Rudman Trail and volunteers are encouraged to meet at Southside Park. Walk up registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the cleanup will start at 9 a.m.

“It’s exciting to watch this event grow every year.” says Keep Tyler Beautiful Board Chair,

Shannon Franzen. “We encourage everyone to come out to the trails to cleanup or host your own cleanup at another location in the City! There are many streets, parks and neighborhoods that could use some attention.”

Keep Tyler Beautiful will provide you with all the supplies to help you cleanup for the location of your choice.

Volunteers will be able to pre-register for the event online beginning March 1 and will receive a t-shirt. Lunch will be served after the cleanup at Southside Park.

For more information or to register, you can visit our website at www.KeepTylerBeautiful.com or the Facebook event page by using the hashtag #GreatTylerCleanup2018.
